Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable specialist with a manufacturing partner of ours in the Shakopee in area!
Pay: $25-$29/hr
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, including matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
- Verify invoice approvals and ensure proper coding to general ledger accounts
- Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
- Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies while maintaining professional relationships
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
- Maintain AP files, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports
- Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong communication and customer service skills
